南园社区是深圳市南山区南山街道下辖的社区，位于街道中西部，面积约1平方千米，四至是南山大道、南园路、登良路，并与北头社区相邻。[1]它由有八百多年历史的南园村改制而来，辖区内有解元祠和南园吴氏宗祠两处区级文物保护单位。[1][2][3]

历史沿革[edit]

据博雅地名网所载，南园村约建于南宋孝宗年间（1168年前后），吴氏一世祖吴洪渊官授内廷翰林，因讲学宣游来到此地而立村。[2]早年的村域南临前海湾，北起横龙岗，向南延伸到赤湾左炮台以东，约五平方千米的土地、山林和荔枝园都属南园村。[2]

1992年9月，深圳经济特区推行农村城市化，南园村委会改为居民委员会；2001年8月再改组为南园社区居委会，沿用至今。[2]

人口民族[edit]

社区常住人口约2.65万，占总人口的77.94%。辖区有5个住宅小区和950栋楼宇，12852户居民，除原村民外还有机关公职人员等；设有一条商业示范街。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

解元祠在南园村东街，区级文物保护单位，为纪念乡贤吴国光而建；吴国光在明万历七年（1579年）中解元，后任知县，告老还乡后参与纂修《新安县志》。[3][4]南园吴氏宗祠在村正街，也是区级文物保护单位，周边的文物保护区包括照壁、五角亭、镇国将军祠等。[3]2012年的报道称，解元祠产权归社区，因产权问题修缮长期未能推进。[4]
