南园街道是广东省深圳市福田区下辖的街道，位于区域东南部，南隔深圳河与香港相望，北沿深南中路与华强北街道、园岭街道相接，东至红岭南路，西到华强南路并沿滨河路至福田河。[1][3]辖区面积约2.1平方千米，下辖沙埔头、南园、南华、滨河、巴登、滨江、锦龙、赤尾8个社区；街道办事处设于1983年，是深圳较早的商业老城区之一。[1][3][4]

历史沿革[edit]

南园街道办事处成立于1983年10月，由原上步街道办事处拆分而来（同时分出的还有园岭），相当于科级单位；起初管辖深南中路以南、红岭路以西、华强路以东的范围，包括上步村（连赤尾在内）和路南一带的家属宿舍区。[1][3]到1985年3月，上步区办事处易名上步管理区，街道随之隶属；1990年1月，上步管理区撤销，改设福田区，南园街道随之归福田区管辖。[1][3]

街道名称来自境内的南园村，村临深圳河而得名。[3]

下辖社区的数目在各时期的记载里不同：维基百科所列社区有13个，百度百科称2021年10月为13个，2009年的博雅地名网说法是11个社区工作站加一家村改制的股份公司，当前福田区政府网站与博雅地名网均为8个。[1][2][3][4]

街道东面以红岭南路与罗湖区桂园街道相连，南临深圳河，隔河与香港特别行政区相望，西接华强南路，北靠深南中路。[1]各来源给出的面积不一：百度百科和街道2025年工作总结用约2.1平方千米，维基百科和博雅地名网的介绍写约3平方千米。[1][2][3]

据百度百科，2020年11月街道常住人口约23.76万，其中户籍人口约13.18万。[1]第七次全国人口普查时，博雅地名网记南园街道人口为12.12万，列福田区各街道第7位，两者口径不同。[3]早年的记载是：2007年总人口15.29万，其中户籍4.26万；2009年3月底总人口16.4万，其中户籍4.3万，被称为深圳人口密度最大的街道之一。[2][3]

经济[edit]

街道以服务业和以电子产品为主的批发零售业为两大支柱；截至2021年7月，企事业单位约7100家，另有约9800户个体经营者。[1]辖区内金融、证券机构较多，深圳市档案局、深圳水务集团、中信集团等单位驻在此地。[3]

街道在2025年的工作总结中提到：通天地通讯市场入选全国首批二手商品流通试点，整合35个线下电子市场，建成华强南消费电子循环产业园；中信国际大厦被打造为深圳第一座海洋经济总部大楼；在深南大道一带推行非机动车规范停放，清理休眠车705辆。[4]

上步村与城中村[edit]

街道辖区原为上步村的土地。上步村包含七个自然村，即赤尾、旧墟和巴登、埔尾、沙埔头、祠堂村、向东围（又名玉田围）；赤尾、旧墟之外的五村居民都姓郑。[5]村名的来历有两说：一说上步位于深圳河北岸约500米，取古书「水谓之步」，步通埠，指河边停船处；一说是风水先生为建村选址时说「上一步更好」。[5][6]

上步村始建于元代，据一说由南头郑氏的八世祖郑惠和从南头涌下迁来开基。[5]1992年5月1日起，村下属的五个片区（埔尾、玉田、沙埔头、旧墟、赤尾）各改设居委会，归南园街道办事处管；当年7月，上步实业股份有限公司注册成立（7月16日），文章称上步是深圳第一个完成改制的村。[6]

2026年，街道对巴登村、埔尾一带的城中村开展治理：巴登村居住近2万人，村里长年积压两三千辆电动自行车；当年5月下旬社区启动围合管理，对130余个巷道出入口分区管控。[7]

文化[edit]

街道在沙埔头社区建起航天主题的党群服务中心，内有星空图书馆、红领巾天文台和太空农场，科普力量来自哈尔滨工业大学（深圳）；总结称该中心在2025年又被评为市级儿童友好的实践基地。[4]
