帽子峰镇位于广东省韶关市南雄市西北部，北面与江西省大余县交界，东邻珠玑镇，南接全安镇，西靠澜河镇[1]。镇名取自境内海拔1058米的帽子峰，山形似帽[2]。全镇辖1个社区和5个行政村[1]，境内有国家4A级的帽子峰旅游景区[4]。

历史沿革[edit]

明代属九成乡凌源都，清咸丰年间废都建约，民国时先后属第八区的人和各乡和第一区永和乡[3]。1957年撤区并乡，地方分属横水、永和两乡；1958年后并入全安（卫星）、城郊两个人民公社[3]。1960年从城郊公社划出，成立帽子峰林业人民公社（后更名帽子峰人民公社）；至1984年称区，1986年冬撤区设镇[3]。博雅地名网另一处简介则记作1962年建镇，两说不一[2]。

地理环境[edit]

镇域面积，百度百科载为125.97平方千米[1]，博雅地名网载约101平方千米[2]。镇境内最高的山峰即帽子峰，海拔1058米[2]。省道1950线经过镇境[2]。气候属亚热带季风性气候[1]。

人口[edit]

据百度百科，2018年末全镇户籍人口9701人[1]，2019年末为9679人[1]。

经济[edit]

博雅地名网的简介称，镇内农业以水稻、黄烟、大豆为主，经济林果以白果、柑橘居多，乡镇企业有竹木加工、食品加工和建材等[2]。2019年末，全镇有工业企业8家，营业面积在50平方米以上的综合商店或超市6家[1]。各村村民大多种植黄烟、水稻，并经营竹木业[5]。洞头村的金丝皇菊于2021年入选广东省“一村一品、一镇一业”专业村名单[5]。

名胜古迹[edit]

帽子峰旅游景区原称帽子峰森林公园，在国营帽子峰林场基础上建成，是省级森林公园，规划面积709.7公顷，主峰海拔1058米，为国家4A级旅游景区[4]。景区内的景点有岭南小九寨（大小田排）、游船码头、银杏情人谷、红枫湖、大小芳坪、金龟岭和黄金大道等，以秋冬的银杏景观为特色[4]。

荣誉[edit]

2017年9月，省林业厅认定该镇为「2017年广东省森林小镇」；2024年3月，又被命名为「2023年广东省卫生乡镇」[2]。
