历史沿革[edit]
一道山岭蜿蜒高耸，形如巨龙，称龙岭，盘踞在横水洞原之中；东北一端渐低，是龙头伏地之处，故称“上龙”，意为龙的上头[1]。1950年设上龙农协会，隶永和乡；1952年与梨树农协会合为民主乡；1958年为大队，归全安人民公社，1967年起属帽子峰公社。1983年与梨树合为上龙乡，1984年分开后仍称上龙乡；1998年撤区设村委会，沿用至今[1]。
人口与经济[edit]
村民小组共8个，住户305家，合计1520人；面积8.91平方千米，耕地约1800亩[1]。村民以黄烟、水稻、玉米、小辣椒为主要作物，也经营竹木[1]。
