白竹村的建置沿革是：1958年为白竹大队，1983年改设白竹乡，1987年成立白竹村委会，1989年称管理区，1998年又恢复村委会，此后一直沿用[1]。

  • 白竹村在2024年3月获得命名，成为2023年度的广东省卫生村[1]
