珠光村位于小江镇东南部，离小江圩镇约11千米，下辖24个村民小组，是镇内的边远革命老区村。全村耕地共2200亩，水田79亩，旱地2121亩。[1]
地名由来[edit]
相传古时附近有一块会发光的石头，村民以为是宝珠，村名由此而来。[1]
人口与经济[edit]
2014年统计：户数537户，人口2229人，劳动力1216人。农民年人均收入8268元，集体收入4.75万元，经济总收入2361.5万元。养猪、养鸡是基础产业，种植的作物有玉米、花生、萝卜、辣椒，还有反季节蔬菜。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2019年9月，珠光村上榜「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）创建单位」。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
村的建制几经变动：1940年设保，1952年改设乡政府，1958年改为生产大队，1983年又设乡政府，1987年改为村委会，1989年改为管理区，1999年再改为村委会。木槽村委会于2005年4月被撤销，并入本村，依据是县人民政府的批准。[1][2]
