星光村为翁源县翁城镇下属行政村，隶属韶关市、广东省[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

村名的来历：解放前此地有一座先师庙，初称先师乡；1963年有政府领导在此开办林场，当地山多人少、居住分散，遂名星光村[1]。1949年至1957年称星光乡，1958年至1983年称星光大队，1983年起复称乡，1986年改称村委会，1993年至1998年称管理区，1998年改设村民委员会，沿用至今[1][2]。
