历史沿革[edit]

1949年至1957年这里是新生村乡，1958年改为新生村大队；1983年复称新生村乡，1986年起设村委会，1993年改称管理区，1998年定名新生村村民委员会，沿用至今。[1]

人口与经济[edit]

据村情介绍，全村484户，总人口2262人，党员57人；山林4164亩，耕地2527亩，其中旱地600亩、水田1927亩。村民主要靠种植和养殖维持收入。[1]

荣誉[edit]

  • 2020年8月，新生村被认定为「首批广东省一村一品、一镇一业专业村」，产业方向是蚕桑。[1]
  • 2023年5月，它又获广东省爱国卫生运动委员会授予「2022年广东省卫生村」。[1]
