历史沿革[edit]
区划资料称，该社区居民委员会设在岩庄街道内，负责这一区域的社会事务，因而以岩庄为名。2004年，原岩庄镇并入坝仔镇。[1][2]
荣誉[edit]
- 2019年9月，岩庄社区列入「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
名胜古迹[edit]
以岩庄为名的岩庄八角庙始建于清康熙四十年（1701年），是五层八角的砖石塔，高26.7米，为县级文物保护单位。[3]
