据区划资料，半溪在1949至1957年为半溪乡，1958至1983年为半溪大队，1983至1986年又改回半溪乡，1986至1993年称半溪村委会。[1]
地名由来[edit]
据区划资料，该村以前是岩庄乡的一个片区，位置在小礤至岩庄水的中段，因此得名“半溪”。[1]
荣誉[edit]
- 2026年1月，半溪村获评广东省第二批「百千万工程」典型村。[1]
