据区划资料，一心在1949至1957年为一心乡，1958至1983年为一心大队，1983至1986年又改回一心乡，1986至1993年称一心村委会。[1]

镇情介绍把一心村的八角塔、古井和得月楼列为县级文物保护对象。[2]
荣誉[edit]
- 2023年5月，一心村被广东省爱卫会命名为2022年度省卫生村。[1]
