芙蓉村是翁源县坝仔镇所辖的行政村，区划代码440229104203。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
据区划资料，芙蓉在1949至1957年为芙蓉乡，1958至1983年为芙蓉大队，1983至1986年又改回芙蓉乡，1986至1993年称芙蓉村委会，1993至1998年称芙蓉管理区，1998年起称芙蓉村民委员会，沿用至今。[1]
名胜古迹[edit]
下角垄遗址在芙蓉村的龙埂岽西坡，遗存时代跨新石器时代晚期至汉代。1985至1986年，广东省博物馆考古队在此发掘了170平方米，文化内涵分两期：第一期属石峡文化，有盘鼎、釜鼎、镂孔圈足盘等陶器、多种石锛，还发现了碳化稻谷；第二期以泥质陶为多，常见方格纹，属汉代遗存。遗址面积约3000平方米，翁源县人民政府于1985年公布其为文物保护单位。[2]
