新龙村是董塘镇的一个行政村，多数自然村是从乳源瑶族自治县龙南镇迁来的，村名由此得来。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

新龙在1976年脱离新莲大队，另立新龙大队；之后经乡、村委会、管理区等几次变更，1998年定为现在的村委会。[1]

2024年4月，新龙村进入「广东省第一批乡村振兴示范村」创建名单。[1]

经济[edit]

据韶关发布的报道，新龙村借助美丽庭院建设办起农家乐和民宿，年营收约30万元；新龙至高莲一带还被建成风貌提升示范带。[2]

据仁化县人民政府网站对董塘镇的介绍，新龙村是第一批「百千万工程」典型村，在2023年度村级考核中获优秀等次。[3]
