消雪岭社区在广东省韶关市曲江区樟市镇东北部、北江西岸，前身是安置越南归侨的消雪岭华侨农场（又称韶关市华侨管理区）。[1]距乌石镇的北江渡口不足3公里，距韶关市区38公里；总面积4.7平方公里，博雅地名网记载共有482户1479人。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

新中国成立后的1957年，曲江县公安局（隶韶关专署）在消雪岭办起一所劳改场；1960年场撤销，土地交樟市公社，改种油桐，称消雪岭油桐林场。[3]1968年，广东省农业厅、林业厅、农垦厅等单位的下放干部来此，场名改为广东省农林水五七干校；前后有2000多名来自各地的知识青年在这里安置。[3]

1978年中越关系恶化后，消雪岭先后分三批安置越南归侨难民1099人，随之改名广东省消雪岭华侨茶场，归省华侨管理局领导，属副处级国有企业。[3]1988年2月茶场下放，交韶关市侨务办公室；1993年又设立韶关市中侨实业总公司。[3]2010年初，农场依改制方案成立「中侨」公司和消雪岭居委会：公司经营原农场的财产和物业，居委会在樟市镇政府领导下办理社会事务。[1][2]

地名由来[edit]

据博雅地名网，「消」「雪」二字分别谐音肖、薛两个姓氏，「岭」指此处的丘陵山岭；居委会设在消雪岭，因而得名。[1]

经济[edit]

华侨茶场原以种茶为主，1995年起转产种果，已种槿柑、脐橙、香蜜橙、沙田柚、龙眼、杨桃等2500多亩。可耕地4000亩，已耕3200亩，鱼塘515亩。[2]2022年1月，省乡村振兴局把消雪岭社区列为「2021年广东省乡村治理示范村」的创建单位。[1]
