历史沿革[edit]
樟市管理区在1986年撤区建镇，当年设樟市居委会；到2002年5月13日，名称改为樟市社区居委会，一直用到现在。[1]
地名由来[edit]
旧街址的溪边有棵大樟树，树下有一处深潭。清末旧街遭洪水冲毁，迁到今址后逐渐成为贸易集市，居委会因而取「樟市」为名。[1]
街道建设[edit]
社区现有一纵二横三条主要街道。近年镇政府与居委会推动樟市街整治，内容有重铺沥青路面、维修排污管网和路灯照明系统。[1]
