胜塘村位于广州市从化区北部山区，隶属良口镇，辖8个经济社；据博雅地名网载，总人口约800人。[1]
地名与沿革[edit]
全村围着水库而建，池塘众多，故称胜塘。[1]土地改革时分作三甲，塘肚为一甲，过水塘为二甲，胜塘为三甲。此后建制几经变动：1955年称星平农业社，1956年改与长流、联星、塘肚并成胜塘乡，1958年设胜塘大队，1962年同联星、联群并为联平大队，1973年再分开；1983年12月称胜塘乡，1987年1月起称胜塘村民委员会。[1]
地理与经济[edit]
全村面积约15平方千米，村委会距从化城区约38公里，距105国道约8公里。村背靠黄龙湖，从东线的尧村方向通过。村里种杨梅，是从化“杨梅节”的旅游村之一，建有杨梅基地，也种青梅、黄榄、砂糖桔和橙。镇里办过第十六届杨梅节。[2][1]
荣誉[edit]
2024年11月认定为「2024年广州市充分就业社区（村）」；2020年8月入选「首批广东省“一村一品、一镇一业”专业村」名单（杨梅）。[1]
