1958年公社化时设锦三大队；1983年12月并入锦联乡；1987年1月分设，改称锦三村民委员会。[1]
经济[edit]
村内是锦洞桃花的种植基地之一，大金峰百花果生态公园也在村境内；村民主要种植荔枝、蔬菜和水稻。[1]
