历史沿革[edit]
村委会设在黄围经济社，村名由此而来。1958年公社化时设黄围大队，1983年12月起称黄围乡，1987年定名为黄围村民委员会。[1]

村在从樟公路沿线的丘陵地带，村民种桃、荔枝、红柿、水稻和花生；村里引入了摩托车厂和家具厂，安置富余劳动力并增加村集体收入。[1]
