莲溪村是广州市南沙区黄阁镇的行政村，坐落在镇域中部靠西北处，属中心城区的“四大村”；北面接东涌镇，西面隔着河涌对着鱼窝头镇。[1][2] 村建于南宋，是第一批广东省传统村落。[1][3]

历史沿革[edit]

麦必达等麦氏兄弟在南宋咸淳九年（1273年）带着家眷南迁，在这里立村，起初叫“莲塘坊”，后改名“莲溪”，取“莲香益远，溪水长流”之意。[3][4] 1987年设莲溪村民委员会，2005年同黄阁镇一道转入南沙区。[1][5]

人口经济[edit]

全村397.52公顷，分20个生产队；户籍人口2012年为3393人，2017年为3380人。[6] 村有土地原约6000亩，其中5000亩已被征用，留用地约850亩。[2]

名胜古迹[edit]

文物合计16处，涉及麦氏大宗祠群、古炮楼、古民宅、山坑古井和洪圣古庙；据村庄简介，另有寺庙祠堂6处、炮楼3座、古井7口、古墓6座、古树1棵。[3][6]

麦氏大宗祠在宿国新街，祀开村先祖麦必达，2008年12月公布为第七批广州市文物保护单位；与继宗麦公祠、瑞辉麦公祠、子平麦公厅连成一线，构成祠堂建筑群。[7][8] 瑞辉麦公祠建于清同治六年（1867年），现辟为麒麟文化展示馆，展示黄阁麒麟舞的发展经过。[8][3]

民俗[edit]

村中的崇乐社组织有麒麟队、醒狮队和国术队，麒麟舞尤为出名。[2][3]

荣誉[edit]

荣誉方面：2004年得到广州市人口与计划生育先进村的称号，2006年进入广州市第二批文明示范村创建行列；2023年1月载入《广州市地名保护名录（第一批）》，同年11月成为广东“百千万工程”首批典型村之一，2024年4月又进入省第一批乡村振兴示范村的创建名单。[5][1]
