平东村是广州市花都区花山镇下辖的行政村，位于平山村的东面，村名即由方位而来。[1] 它是镇上的淘宝村之一。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1956年，三丰、东岭、南方三个高级农业社在此成立，两年后改为三个大队，1960年归并成一个。1969年的名字是新东大队，1974年改回平东；1983年冬生产队制取消，改设平东乡。[1] 1987年1月设村民委员会，起初属花山区公所，同年3月转归花山镇。[1]

经济[edit]

平东村连续三年出现在淘宝村榜单上：2020年9月阿里研究院公布的名单，2021年10月由高校研究中心与阿里研究院联合发布的名单，以及2022年10月的名单。[1] 2024年11月，它还被认定为「2024年广州市充分就业社区（村）」。[1]
