傍江西村在广州市番禺区大龙街道境内，是一个行政村，位于市莲路边，毗邻石岗东村，由三个自然村组成。[1][2]宋末（约1278年）成村，初名傍海，后称傍江，1958年分出傍江东、傍江西两个大队。[1]村内的傍江西罗氏大宗祠为番禺区文物保护单位。[3]村子被评为「中国特色村」，2026年1月又获评广东省第二批「百千万工程」典型村。[2][4]

博雅地名网记，傍江西在宋末成村，名称与傍江东同源，都是临近江海之意；两村分开后，因处在西面而得名傍江西。[1]傍江西村民委员会成立于1987年，一直沿用。[1]

地理环境[edit]

村面积，博雅地名网写3平方千米，百度百科写2.4平方千米，二者未说明统计口径。[1][2]这里离市桥城区约3至5千米（两处说法不同），傍雁路等干道穿过村域。[1][2]百度百科说村子由行政中心村、招村和凛边村组成。[2]

人口民族[edit]

博雅地名网的村情介绍写道，下设8个村民小组，总人口2203，外来流动人口大约5000。[1]百度百科则是在册2206人，外来约8000人。[2]

经济[edit]

村集体经济以第二、第三产业为主，引进了酒店等企业，收入来自厂房、商铺和土地出租。[1][2]傍江西村在2021、2022两年入选淘宝村名单。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

  • 傍江西罗氏大宗祠：在中和大街8号，始建年代不详，1920年（民国九年）在原址基础上重建，1992年重修，2020至2022年整体修缮；三间三进，硬山顶，具有晚清风格。祠内后部梁架悬一块「功名」匾，刻「探花及弟」，款署罗文俊，系道光壬午科殿试一甲第三名。2010年公布为番禺区文物保护单位。[3]
  • 中和大街石阶：清代所建，2007年重铺342米，恢复原貌。[2]

荣誉[edit]

百度百科称它2010年获评「广州市文明村」，并是广州市首个「侨爱新村」，港澳同胞为村里的教育、养老等事业捐资1600多万元。[2]2023年4月，名列「2022年广东省乡村治理示范村」创建单位；2024年11月，列入「2024年广州市充分就业社区（村）」名单；2026年1月，获评广东省第二批「百千万工程」典型村。[1]
