傍江东村在广州市番禺区大龙街道境内，是一个行政村，位于富怡路沿线，南面靠近番禺新客运站，东邻石碁镇，西接市桥街道，村域约190万平方米（约2850亩）。[1][2]宋末（约1278年）成村，初名傍海，后改傍江；1958年傍江分为东、西两村。[1]村内的古氏大宗祠是第九批广州市文物保护单位。[1]

村名的由来是临近江海：起初叫傍海，之后改称傍江，分出两村后，处在东面的叫傍江东。[1]博雅地名网将成村时间记为宋末，约1278年；1958年一分为二，成为傍江东、傍江西两个大队；傍江东村民委员会则在1987年成立。[1]
地理环境[edit]
村地处市莲路北端，富怡路、市莲路、清河路三条干道在这一带交汇。[1]村内有金海岸花园、东湖洲花园两个大型楼盘，北面是旧水坑国际工业园和石碁三中。[1]全村有闲置用地700多亩。[1]

2012年村集体收入为2479万元；2024年，村里启动总投资2.3亿元的商业楼项目，村镇工业集聚区也被纳入广州市更新改造试点。[2]傍江东村2020至2022年每年入选淘宝村名单。[1]

荣誉[edit]
2019年9月，列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单；2024年11月，列入「2024年广州市充分就业社区（村）」名单。[1]百度百科称它2020年获评「广州市美丽乡村」，番禺区政府也把它列为大龙街的市级美丽乡村之一。[2][3]
