新水坑村是广东省广州市番禺区大龙街道下辖的行政村，在市新路旁，南面与市桥城区相接，由南约坊、谨岗坊、大巷坊三个自然坊组成。[1][2]原水坑村在1961年一分为二，位于北边、成村较晚的一部分称新水坑。[1][3]2008年以后，村里以整治环境带动集体经济，收入由每年300万元增至7000多万元。[3]2025年3月，新水坑村被命名为第七届全国文明村镇。[1]

村庄地势偏高，四周有山坑和水圳围绕，原名水坑，也有人叫水濂、水濂乡。[1][3]村史馆的介绍称，村里的始祖是宋朝的陈顕，其孙陈贤赏从南海迁到番禺沙湾司的水濂乡定居；博雅地名网则认为建村在约1277年的南宋末期。[1][3]1961年水坑分为两个大队，北部成村较晚的称新水坑大队，习称新水坑；1987年设新水坑村民委员会。[1][3]

村南靠市桥城区，与东环街的蔡边一村交界，北面是南村镇的坑头村和樟边村。[1]百度百科称辖区面积1.8平方千米；博雅地名网的村情写作1.7平方千米，该页数据约为2009年前后。[1][2]

人口民族[edit]

早期村情记，在册户籍人口1940人（527户），外来人口则有4000多。[1]百度百科的较新数字是户籍人口2470余人，来穗人口约1.3万，商事主体共1809家。[2]

经济[edit]

2008年以前，村里全年收入只有300万元，在周边片区几乎垫底，村民戏称「旧水坑不旧，新水坑不新」。[3]2008年新班子上任，提出先整治环境、再引进项目：此后投入近2亿元修路修渠，建起约10公里的环村路，并建设公园、文化中心和文化广场。[3]集体土地和旧厂房改作时尚创意产业园、写字楼和商铺出租。[2][3]按村史馆的说法，集体收入因此超过7000万元；百度百科记2021年村集体总资产为4亿元。[2][3]新水坑村2020至2022年每年入选淘宝村名单。[1]

文化[edit]

广誉陈公祠在环村东路19号，建于清光绪八年（1882年），为纪念陈顕的六世孙陈广誉而建，由海外归侨陈联璋等倡建，常被称作「广州小陈家祠」；祠堂三间三进，占地约565平方米，是番禺区登记保护的文物单位。[3]2009年3月，村里出资110万元修缮。[3]

祠旁的北帝庙据说已有700多年历史，传为建村时为求风调雨顺所建，2019年初重修完成；每年农历三月初三的北帝诞，村民到庙里祭拜。[3]

荣誉[edit]

2023年11月，入选广东「百千万工程」首批典型县镇村；2024年4月，列入「广东省第一批乡村振兴示范村」创建名单；2024年11月，列入「2024年广州市高质量就业社区（村）」；2025年3月，获评第七届全国文明村镇。[1][2]另据番禺区政府，它还是省定「特色精品村」。[4]
