历史沿革[edit]
钟村居民委员会设于1986年1月。次年，它开始为分散在17个行政村中的居民服务；2007年，所服务的居民超过8600户，达2万多人。2008年，祈福新邨、南奥花园和锦绣花园分出，各设社区；2009年，钟村社区管理的范围缩小到街道的8个行政村及墟镇[1]。
荣誉[edit]
钟村社区在2021年和2022年两度获评广州市绿色社区；2024年11月获评「2024年广州市充分就业社区（村）」[1]。
