历史沿革[edit]
村名的来由，有一种说法是「胜」取胜利之意，「石」取根基稳固之意。另一说，村子宋代开村，来自南海三山的梁氏兄弟在附近的河里打鱼，便在这里落脚，后来别的姓氏也迁来聚居，成为钟村的一个坊，称「胜石坊」，后称胜石村。1987年成立胜石村民委员会[1]。
经济[edit]
村里有户籍人口1395人。村集体把土地出租，用于花卉和树木种植，并招商引进企业，增加收入[1]。
荣誉[edit]
广东省乡村振兴局在2022年1月把胜石村列为「2021年广东省乡村治理示范村」的创建单位；2021年和2022年的淘宝村名单中，胜石村均榜上有名[1]。
