历史沿革[edit]
据传建于南宋，初名钟村；公社化时被划作钟村的第四大队，设行政村后叫钟村四村；1987年成立钟村四村民委员会[1]。
人口与经济[edit]
在册户籍430户，村民共1566人。村子地属圩镇，外来人员多，村集体收入主要靠出租厂房和土地，2009年集体收入600多万元，村民也多以出租自有物业为生[1]。2021年和2022年的淘宝村名单中，钟四村均榜上有名；2026年1月，它获评「广东省第二批百千万工程典型村」[1]。
名胜古迹[edit]
钟四康公古庙在村内十字街口，建于明崇祯年间，清道光、咸丰、光绪年间和2007年都修缮过，坐北向南，三间二进，占地200多平方米，庙内保存清代碑刻六块[2]。每年正月十八，钟村举行纪念康保裔的「十八会」，2020年被列入「番禺区第五批非物质文化遗产代表性项目名录」[2]。
