长庚村是广州市黄埔区龙湖街道下辖的行政村，原属白云区钟落潭镇和九佛镇，传说宋代曾氏迁来建村，因村前有一条长径而得名[1][2]。

历史沿革[edit]

1953至1957年，长庚属黄田乡（小乡），与黄田、山龙并称三个自然村。1958年立长庚大队；1965年划入九佛农场，长隆、塘博头等处成为农场的第三作业区，1966年称「第三营」，又名先锋大队；1969年农场更名红卫农场，到1972年作业区的名称才改回，1978年农场重新叫九佛农场。1987年1月设白云区九佛镇长庚村委会，农场继续代管，至2000年才转由九佛镇管辖。之后数度调整：2004年属钟落潭镇，2005年随九佛片转入萝岗区九龙镇，2014年归黄埔区，2019年划给龙湖街道[3]。

地名由来[edit]

相传村由宋代迁来的曾姓人家所建，村前有条长长的小径，粤语里「径」与「庚」音近，故称长庚[1]。

人口与经济[edit]

据村情材料，长庚村原属钟落潭镇，2006年8月因广州市行政区域调整划归萝岗区；全村面积约7.5平方千米，有285户常住户籍家庭，总人口1014人，流动人口85人，下设4个生产社，耕地700亩，2006年人均纯收入5830元，党员30人[2]。

荣誉[edit]

2019年9月，长庚村入选2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单；2026年1月获评「2025年广州市充分就业社区（村）」[1]。
