历史沿革[edit]
大涵在1958年立大涵大队，1984年与福洞、福山两个大队并为福洞乡（后称福山乡），1986年该乡一分为三，大涵村管委会就此成立。镇龙镇2004年划入增城市中新镇，大涵随之；2005年8月镇龙片转属萝岗区九龙镇，之后2014年由黄埔区接管，2019年划归龙湖街道[1]。
地名由来[edit]
「涵」有修养、大度、深厚之意，村名取这层含义，称大涵[1]。
人口与经济[edit]
村情材料称，大涵村已有约两百年历史，设六个合作社，约1200人，郑、刘、李三姓为主，村域约4平方千米，以水稻种植为主，另有鱼塘二十个左右和一座水库；工业靠企业，农业发展情况一般[1]。
名胜古迹[edit]
大涵村传统民居建筑群在大涵东一街，类别为宅第民居，是黄埔区传统风貌建筑之一[2]。
荣誉[edit]
2024年11月，大涵村获评「2024年广州市充分就业社区（村）」[1]。
