红山街道是广东省广州市黄埔区下辖的街道，位于黄埔区中部、珠江北岸，辖6个社区，街道办事处设在文船路208号。[1][2] 辖区内集中了造船、电力工程、钢管、冶炼等大型企业的生活区，也有一所高校。[2] 街道设于1975年。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

红山街道成立于1975年。[1] 此后辖区内的居民委员会几经合并：文船东、文船西、文船北三个居委会于2002年合并为文船社区；原大沙镇双沙村委会于2002年8月1日撤村改居，转制为双沙社区；广冶居委会与菠船居委会合并为广冶菠船社区。[3][4][5] 现辖航专、文船、远航钢、广冶菠船、火电、双沙6个社区，其中双沙社区是转制社区。[2][6]

地理环境[edit]

街道位于黄埔区中部偏东：南靠珠江，北抵广园东路，东边尽头是火电生活区，西边是文船生活区，邻近穗东、荔联、文冲、黄埔等街道。[2] 博雅地名网给出的辖区面积有约8平方千米和9.7平方千米两种说法。[1][2] 街道北部的牛山一带有炮台遗址，辖区内的华坑一带则保留着田园风貌。[2]

人口民族[edit]

按第七次全国人口普查（博雅地名网引述），红山街道常住人口约4.59万人，在黄埔区各街镇中排第13位。[1] 维基百科记载的人口为42127人，口径未注明。[6] 街道概况则称，户籍人口为21634人，流动人口约3.5万人，居民小组共142个。[2]

经济[edit]

驻街单位有文冲船厂、广东火电工程、广州钢管厂、菠萝庙船厂、广州冶炼厂、中远船务等企业，还有海军部队，社区多由这些单位的职工宿舍区发展而来：航专社区是航海院校的职工家属区，文船社区是文冲船厂一带的居民区，火电社区是广东火电工程总公司的驻地。[2][3][4][7]

文化[edit]

辖区内的广州航海学院黄埔校区（校本部地址红山三路101号）创办于1964年，是黄埔区内的高校之一。[2][8] 学校所在地的社区航专社区，便因这所学校的职工家属区而得名。[3]

交通[edit]

广州地铁5号线的双沙站、13号线的双岗站设在街道范围，广深铁路的下元站也在附近。[6]

名胜古迹[edit]

牛山炮台在文冲造船厂生活区内的牛山上，面向珠江。炮台起初是土垒的工事，1841年（道光二十一年）清军将领祥福在此与英军作战阵亡；1885年（光绪十一年）重建为7座新式炮台，山麓3座装德国克虏伯后膛炮，山脊4座装英国阿姆斯特朗炮。[9] 山腰的乌涌清官兵合葬墓安葬鸦片战争中牺牲的官兵，1993年8月，广州市人民政府将其列入「第四批广州市文物保护单位」。[4][9] 抗日战争时期，辖区内还留有一处被称为「万人坑」的遗址。[2][9] 2002年旧址辟为牛山炮台公园。[9] 此外，南海神庙在辖区附近。[3][5]
