历史沿革[edit]
居委会1999年2月起筹建，同年7月成立；博雅地名网的另一处记述作2002年5月10日成立。[1]
地理环境[edit]
瘦狗岭是一座山岭，海拔131.3米，因山体远看像一只趴着的瘦狗而得名。[2]
人口与单位[edit]
社区共1490户，本地常住4320人，外来人口有2560多人。辖区内有广东省公安消防总队、广州市水务局、天河区教师进修学校和天河区军休三所等单位。[1]
荣誉[edit]
社区曾获天河区文明社区、安全社区和“六好”平安和谐社区等称号；2019年9月名列「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）创建单位」，2024年11月获评「2024年广州市充分就业社区（村）」。[1]
