华农社区是广州市天河区五山街道下辖的社区，辖区是华南农业大学校园，“华农”即这所大学的简称。[1] 社区在五山街道东部，东邻长兴街道，南靠广东省农业科学院，西接华南理工大学，北面是东莞庄，总面积约574公顷。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
居委会自2000年1月起筹建，2001年5月成立；另一处记述则作2002年5月10日成立。[1]
人口与设施[edit]
社区常驻居民50370人，外来人口3000多人，有楼宇122栋。居民多住在茶山区、嵩山区和六一住宅区，学生住在五山、华山两处学生公寓和研究生宿舍。社区内设有超市2个、市场1个、休闲活动区5个，以及小学、幼儿园各1所。[1]
名胜古迹[edit]
校园内的5号楼原是中山大学石牌校区的理学院生物地质地理教室，主楼与衬楼合成中西合璧的宫殿式建筑，正门门额上刻“华南农学院”。[2] 4号楼右前方有一座六角攒尖的石坊钟亭，也是当年留下的建筑。[2] 校史馆设在5号楼内，展出农学家丁颖等院士的事迹。[2]
荣誉[edit]
2022年11月，华农社区获评「广州市2022年绿色社区」；2024年11月获评「2024年广州市充分就业社区（村）」。[1]
