庄头社区位于广州市海珠区，由南石头街道管辖，城乡分类为城乡结合区。据地名资料，这里的聚落早于沙园、南边、鸡春岗等村，故称庄头。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1985年6月，原属基建居委会的区域设立庄头居委会；2002年该居委会被取消，2005年社区调整为16个，基建居委会撤销，庄头居委会重新启用，沿用至今。[1]

荣誉[edit]

庄头社区在2021年11月获评「广州市2021年绿色社区」；2024年11月，入选「2024年广州市充分就业社区（村）」。[1]
