邓岗社区位于广州市海珠区，由南石头街道管辖，属主城区。社区以旧时的一处山岗命名，岗上聚居邓姓人家，故称邓岗。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1984年初，邓岗居委会从原纸南居委会的辖区中分出。[2]1953年，广州造纸厂在邓岗一带兴建职工住宅时，曾在南箕路两旁浅土之下发现大量抗战时期难民的遗骸。[3]
荣誉[edit]
2021年11月，邓岗社区被广州市住房和城乡建设局确定为广州市2021年绿色社区；2024年11月，入选「2024年广州市充分就业社区（村）」。[1]
