历史沿革[edit]

1949年后，村子隶属第七区。1947年，此地曾是古田中心县委的驻地，为革命老区村。1958年归鹤塘公社，当时为南阳大队；1984年改由鹤塘乡管辖，设南阳村委会。[1][2]

2012年，南阳村获「全国民主法治示范村」称号；2016年，被确定为古田县「美丽乡村」建设示范村。[2]

2023年12月，南阳村获评「2023年度福建省一村一品专业村」，产业是山茶油。[1]
