石湖村在东冲半岛上，距下浒镇区约3公里，设有十九个村民小组。[1]

地名[edit]

村口海面平静，状如一湖，海滩上又有石景，村名由此而来。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1958年8月公社化时期，此地设为石湖生产大队。1984年8月恢复乡政府，大队随即改称石湖村并组成村民委员会，原大队就此撤销。[1]

概况[edit]

村民3299人，住户752户。耕地1038亩，园地300亩，海域约三万一千亩。以海带养殖为主，兼营石斑鱼、螃蟹等。[1]

2003年，本村被定为信用村。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2020年12月，本村入选2020年度福建省「一村一品」示范村名单，产品为海带。2021年11月，福建省爱卫办将本村命名为「2021年福建省卫生村」。2024年6月，本村列入「第四批高级版绿盈乡村」名单。[1]
