西坑村在灵地乡北部，离乡政府11公里，包括西坑、下凤山、后队三处自然村，总人口720人。2017年8月，本村列入「福建省第二批省级传统村落」名录。[1]

地名由来[edit]

村委会驻地在京口溪西侧的山坑中，因而得名。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

嘉靖十五年即1536年，此地属大田县；嘉靖四十四年（1565年）改隶宁洋县聚宁里。1949年初期属宁洋县第一区城口乡，1956年宁洋县撤销后归漳平县双洋区城口乡。[1]

1958年组建大队，归建峰公社管辖，次年转入新桥公社；1961年划入灵地公社。1984年政社分设，属灵地乡。[1]

土地总面积14169亩，林地10906亩，生态公益林882亩，耕地780亩。[1]
