中村村位于双洋镇南部，早先这里因李姓人定居而称李溪、利溪，后因位置居中而改称中村。村民多为客家人后裔，兼有畲族，是少数民族行政村。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

明清时期建村。早先李姓人在溪涧两旁的谷地开辟定居，地名称李溪，亦称利溪，后以位置居中而改称中村。[1]

1934年，这里是中南城联保的中村保，此后归中南城乡管辖；这一年，此地还建立过苏维埃政府。[4] 1950至1952年间为中村乡，隶宁洋县第一区，1949年初则称宁洋县的中村村。[4]

1956年宁洋县撤销，划入漳平县双洋区，仍为中村乡。1957年区制取消，归双洋督导片。1958年属东风公社，称中村大队；1961年隶双洋公社；1984年复称中村村，1989年改镇后成为双洋镇中村村。[1][4]

人口民族[edit]

清朝中期，广东梅州、福建永定、上杭、武平等地的客家人迁入此地，与本地原住居民相处，形成至今仍在使用的客家方言。[1]

中村村与坑源村同为少数民族村。[2]

经济[edit]

村中以水仙茶为主要产业，茶叶是村民的主要收入来源，并盛产红菇、竹笋等土特产。[3]

2021年10月，村被认定为「2021年漳平市一村一品专业村」（水仙茶）；龙岩市农业农村局在2022年8月把村列为「龙岩市2022年市级一村一品专业村」（水仙茶）；福建省农业农村厅在2022年12月确定村为「2022年度福建省一村一品专业村」（水仙茶）。[1]

文化[edit]

村于2021年11月获「2021年福建省卫生村」称号；2024年5月，被命名为「漳平市民主法治示范村（社区）」。[1]
