寨头村位于濯田镇北部边缘，距集镇约15公里，海拔约395米，北面与策武镇羊坑相接。[1]

地名由来[edit]

村南曾有一座石寨，溪水从寨前跌落，形成瀑布，村名因此而来。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2020年12月，寨头村获认定为龙岩市第一批中级版绿盈乡村。2021年11月，福建省爱卫办授予寨头村「2021年福建省卫生村」称号。2021年12月，寨头村名列福建省第二批高级版绿盈乡村（乡镇）名单。[1]
