山美村是小池镇下辖的行政村，位于新罗区西部，与镇政府隔路相对。村子离319国道约1公里，离龙岩市区18公里，赣龙铁路自村域穿过。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2021年11月，村庄获评「2021年福建省卫生村」，由福建省爱卫办命名。2022年10月，村庄入选「第二批福建省乡村治理示范村镇」，认定机关为省农业农村厅。[1]

镇街介绍列有山美村为「省乡村振兴实绩突出村」。[2]
