龙村乡位于福建省南平市建瓯市北部，属乡镇级行政区，北面与建阳、政和两县（市）接壤，乡政府驻龙村。[1][2][5]

乡内以山地为主，地势南低北高，最高处擎天岩主峰海拔1222.9米，是建瓯市北部的最高峰。山区林竹资源丰富，锥栗、毛竹和杨梅是当地的主要产物。[4][6][7]

历史沿革[edit]

宋代以来，这一带隶属瓯宁县西乡里，明清沿用宋代的编制。现辖区域约占西乡里一半，因此当地素称「西乡」。[2][4]

1939年设立行政乡，名为龙村乡，隶属建瓯县水吉特种区。1949年至1956年改属水吉县下乾区，1956年水吉县撤销后并入建瓯县。1958年改设山城人民公社；1961年5月，公社更名为龙村人民公社；1984年6月，它再次转为乡人民政府。[1][2]

2021年，龙村乡获评「福建省2018-2020年度省级文明村镇社区」，同年12月又被确定为「2021年度南平市“平安农机”示范乡镇」。[2][4]

地理环境[edit]

乡境位于武夷山脉的延伸段，平均海拔609米，土地总面积208.43平方千米。[1][3][4]

擎天岩位于乡境北部，主峰海拔1222.9米，与建阳市、政和县交界。[6][7]

经济[edit]

当地以竹、榛、菌为三大主导产业。榛即锥栗，当地俗称「榛子」，人工栽培历史较长。杨梅以「二色」品种为主。[2][4]

高山云雾茶、反季节蔬菜和竹山养殖，也是近年发展的特色农业。[4]

名胜古迹[edit]

擎天岩龙池寺建在山中。博雅地名网两页对其始建年代说法不同：擎天岩村页称北宋至和年间（1054—1056年）始建，景区页则据《周氏宗谱》记载，南宋咸淳六年（1270年）龙池寺获宋度宗敕封。[6][7]

擎天岩为福建省文物保护单位。山脉之中有一片青冈栎林，当地人称佛楮林，树林周围有古道通向龙池寺。[6]
