后塘村位于福建省南平市建瓯市小桥镇西端，东靠阳泽村，西南与南雅镇相接，北靠建瓯通济街道，辖7个自然村。全村有800户、2950人（博雅地名网，未注年份）。[1][2][3]

历史沿革[edit]

村后山形似鱼，村名取“塘”以网鱼之意，故名后塘。[1]

1952年时为阳泽乡所辖，隶属小桥八区；1954年设后塘乡，仍属小桥八区；1958年改设小桥公社后塘大队；1984年改称现名。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

博雅地名网的小桥镇条目称，普通桥位于本村，时代为清道光，列为县级文物保护单位。[4]

本村概况则称普通厝桥始建于北宋年间，至今保存状况良好。两处所说的年代不同，此处并存。[2]

荣誉[edit]

福建省爱卫办于2021年11月授予后塘村「2021年福建省卫生村」称号；2022年12月，福建省农业农村厅将后塘村列为「2022年度福建省一村一品专业村」（茶叶）；2024年2月，后塘村成为「第二批福建省乡村振兴示范村镇」创建对象。[1]
