海边村是广东省湛江市雷州市覃斗镇下辖的行政村，清康熙年间由郭、王两姓迁来建村。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
博雅地名网载，康熙年间（该页同时写作1765年），郭、王两姓从龙门镇徐绿村迁到此地建村。民国到1951年间隶海九区，1956年入覃斗乡；之后是海边大队（1958年）、海边乡（1984年）、村委会（1987年2月）、管理区（1989年）、村民委员会（1999年）。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2022年8月，海边村成为「2022年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）创建单位」；同年9月获「2022年湛江市文明村」称号。[1]
