西坑村是建瓯市迪口镇的行政村，村名与村边一处深坑相关。[1]

名称与沿革[edit]

据博雅地名网，相传江西人前来此地开基，因村边有一处深坑，遂取名西坑。[1]

1950年此地归小桥二区西坑乡，两年后划入迪口六区。1958年并入迪口公社西坑大队，1984年改设迪口镇西坑村民委员会。[1]

文物古迹[edit]

游章华、游仲铭、游吓生烈士合葬墓位于村庄西北侧300米处，为现代墓葬，朝向西南，长6.8米，宽7米，占地面积47.6平方米。[1]

荣誉[edit]

福建省农业农村厅于2022年10月作出认定，西坑村列为「第二批福建省乡村治理示范村镇」。[1]
