东门村位于建瓯城区东面，村名取自这一位置。村部设在城区，属城乡结合区。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1984年起用今名，改属芝城镇；此前的1958年为城关公社东门大队，1950年时则是城区东门街政府所在。[1]

1996年5月1日，村民委员会正式设立，此后归建安街道办事处管辖。[2]

名胜古迹[edit]

村境城东郊有全国重点文物保护单位建瓯东岳庙。[3][4]
