秀水村是元坑镇政府所在地的村子之一，以草莓等果蔬为特色产业。村内有清代的张氏宗祠、致远堂和吴氏宗祠，还有民国时期的关帝庙，均为县级文物保护单位。[1][4]

历史沿革[edit]

1948年此地称秀水堡，属元坑乡。1949年与福丰村合并为福秀乡，属县第四区。1959年归红旗大队，1961年成立秀水大队，1984年改为秀水村村民委员会，1992年元坑撤乡设镇后归元坑镇。[1][2]

地名由来[edit]

村中地下水丰富，水质清澈，冬暖夏凉，村名因此而来。[1]

村况[edit]

据博雅地名网，全村有210户、840人，下辖2个自然村和7个村民小组。总面积为6800亩，耕地仅790亩，林地达4053亩。[2]

产业[edit]

村里以草莓为主要特色，同时种植柑桔、水空心菜和荸荠，产品销往境内外。秀丰草莓专业合作社带动农户形成“合作社加农户”的经营方式。[4][1]

2025年11月，秀水村被确定为「福建省2025年度省级“一村一品”专业村」，专业为草莓。[1]

建筑与文物[edit]

秀水张氏宗祠为清代建筑，已公布为县级文物保护单位；致远堂也是清代建筑，同属县级文物保护单位。[3]

元坑吴氏宗祠始建于清嘉庆年间，门楼以砖雕为主，墙上刻有人物、书画和动植物图样。2001年，县文物部门将其评定为文物保护单位。[2][3]

元坑关帝庙为民国时期建筑，同为县级文物保护单位。[3]

荣誉[edit]

2015年10月，秀水村入选「福建省第一批省级传统村落」；2020年11月，上榜「2020年度南平市“绿盈乡村”中级版村庄」名单；2021年11月，秀水村获授「2021年福建省卫生村」称号。[1]
