西坑村是福建省漳州市南靖县船场镇下辖的行政村，位于镇西南部，山梅公路穿村而过，是前往南靖土楼的必经之地。全村有14个村民小组。[1][2]

地理与人口[edit]

全村总面积9.7平方公里，有486户、1987人，分为14个村民小组。东与集星村、船场村相接，南与上汤村毗邻。[1]

地名由来[edit]

村内原有一座四角楼，名叫西川楼，楼的四面各有一条小坑，村名由此而来。[1]

沿革[edit]

解放前此地属船南乡的西汤保，解放后属第七区西汤乡。1958年，二联社改组为西坑耕作区。此后于1961年设西坑大队，1984年起称西坑村民委员会。[1]

西坑村与上汤村等村有温泉地热资源。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2020年2月，西坑村入选福建省第三批省级传统村落；同年12月，又入选2020年福建省森林村庄名单。[1]

2022年10月，西坑村经福建省农业农村厅认定，成为第二批福建省乡村治理示范村镇之一；2023年2月，西坑村在第三批高级版绿盈乡村名单中上榜。[1]

2024年2月，西坑村被纳入第二批福建省乡村振兴示范村镇的创建名单；2025年11月，西坑村获评福建省第二批省级乡村振兴示范村。[1]
