新厝村是福建省漳州市诏安县西潭镇下辖的行政村。1961年从西潭大队中析出，村名取自当地的地片名「新厝」。[1]

地理与人口[edit]

村子地处平原，聚落依平地上的池塘而建，平面呈品字形。全村有1080户，人口约4400余人，以吴姓为主。[1]

教育与产业[edit]

村中种植水稻、荔枝、龙眼和青梅，设有医疗室，并办有一个村级农场。西潭中学与西潭学区设在村内。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

解放初属第二区西潭乡，此后划归第六区，1955年又归西潭区。1958年起属幸福人民公社西潭大队，1961年自西潭大队分出，另立新厝大队，1984年改为西潭乡新厝村。[1]
