新厝村位于福建省漳州市漳浦县六鳌镇中部偏北，在六鳌半岛中段，北邻龙美村，南邻大澳村，西临浮头湾，东靠崂岈山。全村由新厝、上大澳两个自然村组成，两村相邻，合为一个行政村。[1]

村名与村落[edit]

新厝自然村原名“瓦窑”，因先有一座瓦窑，之后陆续建起新房而成村，成村至今已有百余年。上大澳自然村位于原上大澳村上方，同样形成于百余年前。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

顺治年间，此地先归龙澳保管辖。到康熙三十九年，龙澳与陆鳌两保并成一个整体，称龙鳌保。新中国成立初期，村子先后隶属第四区与第九区；1958年9月起，划入深土公社的六鳌管理区，成为新厝大队。1961年7月，它又转属六鳌公社。[2]

姓氏与人口[edit]

全村有林、王、陈、徐四姓。新厝自然村以林姓为主，属深土镇“路下林”的分支，由本镇龙美村迁来，开社约一百一十年。上大澳自然村有陈、王、林、徐四姓，其中王姓来自旧镇前溪村，陈姓的来源不一。[2]

经济与产业[edit]

村里以农业、虾池养殖和紫菜养殖为主要支柱，番薯是主要作物。近年来，多家企业在此落户，其中有漳州一帆重工有限公司、江苏瑞雪海洋科技有限公司等，村集体收入主要来自利用土地引进外资企业。[2]

庙宇与古树[edit]

新厝自然村有天上圣母庙，上大澳自然村有广惠尊王庙。上大澳自然村另有四棵榕树，其中两棵树龄已有三百年以上。[2]
