甘棠村是福建省漳州市漳浦县长桥镇下辖的行政村，村址偏于镇境南端，北面是青果村，西面紧挨溪内村，东面与赤土乡接壤。村境处于赤尾寨山与大洞山之间的峡谷地带，下辖6个自然村，全村共486户、2056人。[1]

地名由来[edit]

村中池塘较多，塘中海棠花盛开，因此得名甘棠。村内自古多产柑桔与各类水果，有「甘」字之称。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

1934年设甘塘保，1940年属长横乡；1944年长横乡改称长桥乡，甘塘保改称甘棠保。[2]

新中国初期甘棠属第十一区坑里乡，1955年12月起归官浔区，改设甘棠乡。1958年9月，此地并入长桥公社的溪内大队；1961年7月，从中分出自成一个大队。1984年，公社体制改为村制；1992年4月，乡改镇，甘棠村随之定名。[2]

行政区划与人口[edit]

村辖坑里、柴桥、坑尾、甘门（甘园）、石兜、陂尾6个自然村。坑里社118户、486人；柴桥社148户、598人；坑尾社31户、123人；甘门、石兜、陂尾三社合计190户、851人。[1]

姓氏[edit]

坑里社有陈、林二姓，各有祖祠；柴桥社以林姓为主，建有祖祠；坑尾社以程、黄二姓为主。甘门、石兜、陂尾三社都是陈姓聚居地，共建总祖祠于石兜。[1]

全村六个姓氏中，陈姓1049人，林姓856人，程姓86人，黄姓37人，刘姓22人，蔡姓8人。[1]

经济与基础设施[edit]

村内耕地1481亩，其中水田1258亩，山地约1.1万亩。水田种植水稻、豆类、瓜类与蔬菜，山地和园地种植果树，养殖以猪、鸭、鱼为主。[1]

1973年11月建成老鼠坑水库，库容15万立方米；1981年建成朝阳渠甘棠三级水电站，容量75千瓦。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

坑里社面前的慈云亭岭上曾建佛祖庙与慈云雨亭，今亭庙残存，只留一座石碑。闽粤古驿道经柴桥、坑里通往县城，沿途曾设下径墟。[1]

柴桥社尚存「双节」石坊一座，为李友伦之妻林氏与其媳李振光之妻蔡氏所立。[1]

陂仔尾社有陈姓的妈祖庙，2000年重建，每年农历三月二十三日举行妈祖寿庆。坑尾社曾有清同治四年（1865年）建成的基督教堂，今仅存遗迹。[1]

甘棠为革命老区村，1925年有五位革命者在此牺牲。[1]
