马山村位于云霄县南部，是云陵工业开发区下辖的行政村，2006年经整合由莆美镇划归开发区管辖。[1][3]

村名来自村西的一座山，山的样子像五匹马在奔跑。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村子1958年设马山大队，隶属海峰公社。1961年转属大埔公社，1966年又并入莆美公社，大队名未变。1984年改乡设村，大队便成了村委会。[1]

人口与土地[edit]

全村786户，总人口3197人，下辖马山、荷仔埔两个自然村，共32个村民小组。耕地4800亩，山地1000亩。[1]

交通与文物[edit]

324线国道穿村而过，沪深高铁云霄客运站与货运站都设在村内。[1]

村西北有「明朝林太史陵园」，博雅地名网载其为省级重点文物保护单位。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2006年，村被评为「云霄县支持工业发展示范村」。[2]

2019年12月，第二批「国家森林乡村」名单公布，本村入选；发布单位为国家林业和草原局。[1]

2021年11月，福建省爱卫办命名本村为「2021年福建省卫生村」。[1]
